| To TRANSMIT via VOX, invoke the VOXON/ command. Check with the node owner for the COMMAND needed to activate the VOX, and any other special instructions. Keep in mind that there can be 25 users connected simultaneously via Skype, so VOX use can cause HARMFUL INTERFERENCE !!!! |

| TRANSMIT using the P.T.T. Method Check with the node owner for, and send via IM, the "SECRET/" PASSWORD needed to activate P.T.T . Response Time depends on SKYPE and Internet Latency ----- THREE KEYING METHODS ----- ONE "DOT" ( . ) ( M ) or ( T ) keys the transmitter. TWO "DOT's" ( .. ) (MM) or ( R ) unkeys the transmitter. --------------- When you're done transmitting send ------------ KILL or OFF to disable P.T.T. Transmit... until the PASSWORD/ is re-entered. |
| Skype is your source of transmit and receive audio. You MUST call using SKYPE VOICE before anything else. |
| There can be others already monitoring the system. They can be on EchoLink, the Local Repeater, Telephone and Skype. |
| If the system is in the OFF state feel free to control it by using TEXT commands via Skype IM. |
| The first thing you do is ENTER a frequency using the Methods detailed on the left. |
| The MODE for that frequency will follow normal convention. If you wish to override that convention use the MODE Entry commands. |
| Special frequencies such as FM Repeaters (with splits), 60 Meters, and Special Nets are also depicted on the left . |

Shortcut commands are entered in the IM (TEXT) portion of SKYPE... Users can print a list of SHORTCUT COMMANDS by sending the command HELP --- TRANSMIT ACCESS --- Send the SECRET/ access code that the node owner provides to Key and Unkey the radio, and add the Delimiter ( = ) or ( / ) . LOCK/ and OPEN/ commands prevent loss of control to other users. |
